Another was the Globo, created by artist Nicky Enright as a contribution to the discourse on economic inequality. Bitcoin and Globos are both informed by the understanding that traditional currencies have failed to address the massive economic disparities among people and nations around the world, and that monetary value is a human construct.

Perceived value is grounded in societal trust among individuals and nations.
